HOW IT’S DONE | Covered Wallpaper

HOW IT'S DONE | Covered Wallpaper

Wallpaper has become a lost art. It isn’t just for your nana and Zsa Zsa Gabor. It can be modern and simple or elaborate and highly detailed. That element that ups the ante for a space. But, let’s be honest, it’s also a little terrifying: buckets of paste and matching of seams are enough to make any violet shrink. Lucky for Denver, we have the ladies of Covered Wallpaper. Curating an incredible selection with the best of the best from America to Japan and everywhere in between. Join us on September 21st to learn more, check out books of beautiful wallpaper pages, and have all your questions answered by experts. (And, because we’re us, drinks will be served.)

Mod Livin’ + Marczyk Fine Foods Present: Drink & Be Rosy | An evening tasting of over 20 Rosés from Fairfax Wine & Spirits

On Saturday, June 8, from 6:30-8:30PM, Mod Livin’ will host a wine tasting in the showroom to benefit Denver’s own Andre Center, which provides clinical education and navigation services for women and men diagnosed with breast cancer.  Their efforts since May 2006 have reached over 600 clients in 54 countries throughout the State of Colorado.  Andre Center for Breast Cancer Education and Navigation is a highly esteemed grass roots operation, a bit about what they do from executive director, Sandra Walters,

“When someone is newly diagnosed with cancer, being able to talk with a clinical expert about their particular situation and next steps is priceless.  When calling the Andre Center, clients will always have access to a registered nurse who specializes in breast cancer and who can help sort through the information they’ve already been given or help identify questions to ask and understand what the next steps toward treatment might be.  The service continues to rely on donations and be offered at no cost to the public.”

We only have room for 100 people; be sure to RSVP before it fills up!  Admission is free with a suggested donation of $15 per person.

Also on deck for the evening, some amazing giveaways from Fairfax Wine & Spirits (delicious wine), Mod Livin’ (a reinvented Blu Dot coffee table), Solera Restaurant ($100 gift certificate for dinner), & MCA Denver (a family membership).

Please feel free to phone the showroom with any questions.  Most importantly, don’t forget to WEAR PINK!
